Support Older Adults

Older adults live with dignity, safety and independence.

Why We Care
We know that older adults want to grow old in their own homes surrounded by loved ones, friends and neighbors. But many aren't able to because of poverty and poor health.

How We Do It
By assessing community needs through on-going research, United Way works together with community partners to identify best approaches and find solutions that create a better system of care for older adults.

Lasting Solutions
We believe the careful investment of funds in quality programs is one solution, but sometimes needs are more complex. These needs require action that influences change to an entire service delivery system. Through the Older Adults Partnership, United Way leads the way to holistic solutions that ensure older adults receive the help they need to better enjoy their elder years.
