Advocate in Person

Advocating in-person can be extremely rewarding, giving you a sense of being in the middle of the action.

Look up the agendas of your local School Board, Board of Supervisors, and/or City Council meetings and plan to attend those that deal with your concerns. If you plan to speak at these events make sure that you sign up to do so. 

You can also host events that surround the issues you support. Even educating your friends and family on the issues is a wonderful way to advocate.
