Early Childhood Summit 2010

Thank you for joining the powerful movement to prepare every child, from birth to age 5, to succeed in school and in life.

In May 2010, Smart Beginnings Greater Richmond brought together hundreds of community members, childcare experts, elected officials and business leaders for the Greater Richmond Early Childhood Summit.

The two-day event launched the Regional Plan for Children's School Readiness and featured expert speakers who discussed the importance of childhood brain development and the economic case for investment in early childhood.

Below, you can see photos of the events, read the Plan, and view the summit presentations.
