Come One, Come All to Friday's Day of Action

Join the fun, join the action! On Friday, Sept. 14, United Way will kick off the 2012 fundraising campaign with a Day of Action and Celebration Cookout.

The community is invited to take part in one of eight different volunteer projects at the Northside Family YMCA, 4207 Old Brook Road. Spend the afternoon outdoors landscaping and painting, or go indoors and join the kids for fun activities.

At 4:30 p.m., the Campaign Celebration and Cookout will begin, featuring food provided by Carytown Burgers and Fries and entertainment provided by John Marshall High School's cheerleading squad.
