Congratulations to Board Member Sally Green

Today, Sally Green was honored by the YWCA of Richmond as an Outstanding Woman!

Sally's visionary leadership, compassionate nature and strong commitment to the community and improving the lives of others have made a difference for United Way, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Richmond, and other organizations across the Richmond region. She exemplifies the word "outstanding"!

Sally (seen at right, in yellow) serves as chief operating officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, overseeing a team of 1,500 employees while simultaneously giving her time and talent as a volunteer for many community organizations, including United Way.

She is currently a member of United Way's Board of Directors, and from 2008 to 2011 she served as chair of our Women's Leadership Initiative (WLI). She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Clubs.
