MetroCASH Needs Volunteers For Tax Season

Help connect hard-working families with the cash they earned by volunteering with MetroCASH!

MetroCASH promotes financial independence for working families. By offering free tax filing in partnership with the IRS, MetroCASH connects working families with tax credits such as the Earned Income Tax Credit and helps those families build assets. United Way is part of the MetroCASH coalition and serves as the coalition's fiscal sponsor.

Starting in January 2012, MetroCASH will offer free tax preparation and filing at 14 sites throughout the Richmond region. Volunteers are needed at all sites and in all roles!

Greeters are needed, as well as CASH Coaches, ASTP Coaches, tax preparers and other positions. Free training is provided.
