Nonprofit Learning Point

United Way of Greater Richmond & Petersburg is proud to be a long-term funding partner for Nonprofit Learning Point, an educational program that assists with capacity-building for the vast network of nonprofit organizations in the greater Richmond area. It is the only program of its kind designed to respond to the specific needs of the nonprofit community.

The program provides high quality, relevant and affordable courses, conferences and formal training to members of the nonprofit community. A Certificate of Achievement in Nonprofit Management can be earned once a student completes 12 courses in the prescribed focus areas.

HandsOn Greater Richmond

HandsOn Greater Richmond, a web portal to volunteer opportunities around the region, links individuals, families, teams, and corporate groups with meaningful volunteer opportunities. United Way of Greater Richmond & Petersburg is a funding partner of HandsOn and encourages all local nonprofit agencies to register their one-time and long-term volunteer opportunities on the site.
