Southside Child Development Center
Southside Child Development Center provides day care services and early childhood education for children of working parents. The Center offers innovative programs that provide children between 2 and 5 years of age with the academic, physical, and emotional support they need to make positive and responsible choices throughout their lives. The preschool program is rooted in the Creative Curriculum, which fosters children’s natural curiosity and interests and opens doors to new learning opportunities.
The program also uses the Al's Pals curriculum, which promotes health and social competence and strengthens resiliency. Services include health and developmental screenings and family support and involvement. They offer USDA-certified meals, large enclosed playgrounds, large classrooms with interest centers, and college-educated and trained staff. They support year-round enrollment for children ages 2-5 and summer enrollment for children 6-12.
