Mr. and Mrs. J. Stewart Bryan III Receive United Way's Most Prestigious Honor

J. Stewart Bryan III, chairman of the board of directors for Media General Inc., and his wife Lissy S. Bryan, an advocate for affordable housing and child welfare, have received the 2010 Alexis de Tocqueville Society Award from our United Way. The annual award honors those whose service and generosity exemplify the true spirit of volunteerism. The Tocqueville Society is celebrating its 25th anniversary in Richmond this year.
