YMCA: Southside Branch

The YMCA provides affordable, high-quality, licensed childcare to 96 children in pre-school through fifth grade. The curriculum provides learning opportunities that build relationships, develop character, promote academic success, and inspire discovery. The percent of families in the program that receive financial assistance from the YMCA and/or other sources for childcare has increased from 74% in 2001 to 100% today. This assistance helps low-income families afford childcare so that parents can maintain employment and achieve greater economic security.
