Director of Workforce Partnerships

The Director, Workforce Partnerships will support Network2WorkRVA (N2WRVA) by leading the Service Provider Network. N2WRVA is a technology platform that connects job seekers to livable wage jobs with career pathways. The platform also connects job seekers to service providers that provide workforce services, training, and wrap around services that help job seekers become job ready. The Director will work with service providers to maintain up to date information on services available, carefully cultivate and recruit new partners to fill gaps in services, and ensure that the service provider network capacity stays aligned with the number of active job seekers enrolled in N2WRVA. The Director will also be responsible for ongoing training for service providers on the Network2WorkRVA platform. The Director will support the United Way Workforce Partnership Team (WPT), a regional coalition of partners that provide workforce and wrap-around services to clients with barriers to employment. The goals of the WPT include streamlining services by building a network with strong referral mechanisms, sharing curriculum and best practices, and providing professional development opportunities for team members. The Director will administer UWGRP programs/initiatives related to workforce supports, such as RideUnited and Emergency Food & Shelter Program (EFSP) in conjunction with other team members and may assist with other organizational activities such as site visits, grant application review, etc.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in building and maintaining relations with community leaders; experience in convening and meeting facilitation; experience working with multiple stakeholders; and demonstrated commitment to collective impact concepts. A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field is required; MSW preferred.
