United Way of Greater Richmond & Petersburg is monitoring the global spread of novel coronavirus, or COVID-19. This is top-of-mind for all of us, as the health and safety of our community is our top priority. We are committed to providing our community members with up-to-date resources to help deal with any drastic life changes that may occur due to COVID-19.

We have created this toolkit in the hopes that it will assist you in day-to-day life as well long term planning during this ever changing time. Below you will find a wide range of information to help you become familiar with local resources, guidance for families and how to step up and lead in our current landscape.

Below we have compiled resources to help members of the community navigate this challenging time. These resources will help provide direction for those needing assistance during this time.

We hope you feel empowered to navigate the current landscape through this temporary new normal and find this guidance useful in helping your students and family thrive–educationally, emotionally and relationally.

Leading through COVID-19 has been challenging for everyone. In this section, we offer tips and best practices for leaders, supervisors and service delivery personnel to foster a positive work culture as well as support staff’s individual resilience during this time.

This guide was created by the Workforce Partnership Team, which brings together workforce development professionals and service providers to remove barriers to employment and help everyone in our region secure a steady, sustainable job with a livable wage.
