United Way Partners with Genworth, Richmond Flying Squirrels Charities and FeedMore
April 3, 2019 – As the Richmond Flying Squirrels’ 10th season begins this week, United Way of Greater Richmond & Petersburg is proud to announce its partnership with Genworth, Richmond Flying Squirrels Charities, and FeedMore to raise awareness of community needs during All-Star Week 2019, which will be hosted in Richmond from July 7 through July 10.
Together, these organizations provide a tremendous amount of support to the Richmond region and its residents. This season, we invite you to step up to the plate and join us in creating a legacy for the community by donating to the All-Star Week Legacy Fund.
By donating to the All-Star Week Legacy Fund, you will be helping to ensure that youth at risk of hunger receive healthy and reliable meals in the summer through FeedMore’s Summer Food Service Program; that students have access to quality summer and out-of-school time learning through United Way’s Steps to Success; and that families have a safe place for athletics and post-secondary scholarship opportunities through Richmond Flying Squirrels Charities.
