Join us for the 2019 Literacy Kit Kickoff
You can help children in our communities this school year by getting involved in United Way’s Literacy Kit Kickoff during tax free weekend at seven locations across the region.
Early learning resources are critical to ensuring kids are prepared for kindergarten and reading at grade-level by third grade. Help students reach these important Steps to Success by participating in one or more of these ways:
Volunteers will help collect, sort and count donated school supplies at partnering Walmart locations. With the help of volunteers at this event, United Way will raise awareness of the importance of early literacy and continue the effort to ensure all kindergartners have what they need to start school.
