Water Recovery Fund

WaterRecoveryFund ()

The City of Richmond is establishing a Water Recovery Fund to help eligible individuals and families dealing with household expenses, basic needs, and other costs incurred as a result of the winter storm and subsequent events in January 2025. The City and United Way of Greater Richmond & Petersburg are partnering to create a simple way for individuals to contribute to this effort.

Many of our friends, family, and neighbors were impacted by the winter storm and subsequent water outage in January. The outpouring of volunteers, first responders, and everyday individuals was inspiring to behold as water was distributed to those in need.

You can contribute to this continuing recovery effort, and donate to the Water Recovery Fund using the button below. Thank you for being a part of the collective impact we can make on our neighbors.

Richmond City residents will be able to apply both online at rva311.com and over the phone at 3-1-1 starting January 31. Stay up to date on water recovery efforts, by visiting the City of Richmond’s website, or following the City of Richmond on Facebook or Instagram.
