Young people are the future of our workforce.
Investment today will create a better tomorrow.
Strengthening Skills for Career Success is a series of virtual and in-person workshops to support the development of career-ready young people in our region. Volunteers interested in participating should have first-hand experience with job-seeking, technology to access Zoom and eagerness to support young people in our region on their path to success.
How It Works
Volunteers begin their service with a 30-minute training before working with one or two teens to support them with developing a resume, practicing interview skills, utilizing job-finding platforms and developing other related soft skills.

“I think when we strengthen the job seeker, even if the job seeker is a 14-year-old kid, that person will be better off in the long run. To me, that is so important in our community.”
