When we embrace opportunities to work together toward change, we invest in building stronger, community-driven results. United, we will have the greatest impact on our region.
How It Works
Volunteers United (VU) is a dedicated group of United Way volunteers who lead the charge on many community volunteer opportunities and initiatives. VU welcomes new members each year and accepts applications on a rolling basis until full. The application will open April 15, 2024. Once those interested in membership apply, our Volunteer Manager will reach out to schedule an interview. From there, those granted membership will convene for an introductory event at our United Way office. As a VU member, you will take part in a variety of volunteer opportunities along with your fellow members!
Apply to Volunteers United!
Membership in Volunteers United means joining a community of fellow change makers.
As a Volunteers United member, you can support families and neighborhoods in our community. Volunteering is a fun and deeply rewarding experience where you can make immediate and lasting change by helping our community thrive.
VU members will respond to both United Way-driven, and partner-driven volunteer opportunities and are required to complete a minimum of 8 hours per year, and attend semi-annual meetings to maintain active VU status.
