Help Residents Recover and Rebuild
More than 100 older adults were displaced after a devastating fire at Darby House Apartments on July 4, 2026. United Way Greater Richmond and Petersburg, together with nonprofit partners and Henrico County Government, has established the Darby House Fire Recovery Fund to support residents as they rebuild their lives.
Your gift will help residents receive case management, furniture, household essentials, and other recovery supports coordinated by local nonprofit organizations. Together, we can help our neighbors recover from this tragedy and begin the next chapter with hope and support.
