Richmond Thrives Grants Program
The City of Richmond has changed how it awards competitive grants to nonprofits. Beginning with the FY27 budget, the City is moving from a City-managed application process to a new model. Instead of applying directly to the City each fall, nonprofits will apply for competitive grants across four priority areas, which are managed by the following grantmaking partners:
- Children and Families: United Way Greater Richmond and Petersburg
- Economic Mobility: United Way Greater Richmond and Petersburg
- Health: Richmond and Henrico Public Health Foundation
- Arts and Culture: CultureWorks
We will post more on information sessions and our process soon.
