How It Works
Volunteers United (VU) is a dedicated group of United Way volunteers who lead the charge on many community volunteer opportunities and initiatives. VU welcomes new members each year and accepts applications on a rolling basis until full. The application will open April 12, 2025. Once those interested in membership apply, our Volunteer Manager will reach out to schedule an interview. From there, those granted membership will convene for an introductory event at our United Way office. As a VU member, you will take part in a variety of volunteer opportunities along with your fellow members.

Presidential Volunteer Service Award
Volunteers United members are eligible to receive the Presidential Volunteer Service Award (PVSA), assuming they meet all criteria. Volunteer eligibility guidelines for PVSA vary according to age bracket. For more information, please visit the PVSA website.
